More Background

Still about 4 months to go but moving closer.

I'm enjoying the process of braces for the 2nd time of my adult life. 😒 I really sympathize with my toddler now. We both sit and whine because our teeth hurt.

Some more background info here: you can see from the images above that I have an overbite and my lower jaw/chin are set back pretty far.

Above is before my ortho appt and a couple hours after. You can see how much my bottom teeth moved. Ouch! We're moving these babies fast! They have to be ready before the surgery.

And a happy pic with my little man. This is sure going to be tough with him. I'm getting nervous about being in the hospital for a week and how he will cope with me being gone. And then I can't lift him for at least a month. He's a momma's boy right now and wants held constantly. It's going to be tough on all of us. 😔
